“WHITE SAVIOR” a new play by Catherine Filloux streaming live starting November 1, 2020

Politics collide during the 45th president’s term, when two sisters — a human rights researcher and an arch-conservative mom — clash.  An African-American professor/journalist is thrown into their lives, and they end up convening in Texas, at the Desert Cactus Motel.  Featuring Liz Whittaker, April Fossen, Calbert Beck, and Sydney Shoell.

Catherine Filloux  is a French-American playwright (her mother is from Oran, Algeria and her father from Guéret, France and she lives in New York City.) She has received awards from the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays, the O’Neill, the MAP Fund, and the Asian Cultural Council.  She has been a Fulbright Senior Specialist in playwriting in Cambodia and Morocco.

Kia Corthron is an award-winning playwright and novelist. Her first novel was awarded The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize and her second novel will be published soon.  Her plays have been produced in New York, across the U.S. and internationally.
Alexa Jordan is a playwright, actress and a part-time development associate at The Mustique Charitable Foundation.  She is on the board of directors at Culture Hub, and the Juanita James Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
Grahame Russell is the director of Rights Action, which funds community human rights, land and environmental defense organizations in Guatemala and Honduras; and works to hold accountable those that help cause and profit from repression and human rights violations.
DeMone Seraphin is an award-winning actor, director, educator, and the Founding Artistic Director of The New American Theatre Co. NY. As an actor DeMone has appeared on Broadway, nationally, internationally and regionally; and on film and TV.
