Bella Bella is a solo play by Harvey Fierstein who created the language from the words of Bella Abzug. The show is set on election night of her run for the senate. She is in the bathroom as many others wait for her outside. Pyg’s production features Tamara Howell as Bella. It is directed by Fran Pruyn.

Harvey Fierstein is a playwright, an actor. He is best known for his work in Torch Song Trilogy and and Hairspray and his movie roles in Mrs. Doubtfire, Independence Day and as the voice of Yao in Mulan and Mulan II. H
