Opening Friday – The 12 Dates of Christmas

12DatesofChristmas“I used to love the holidays. I used to love Christmas. I used to be that annoying girl in the jingle-bell earrings and the leopard-print Santa hat…” – Mary, The 12 Dates of Christmas.

Pygmalion Theater Company is kicking off the holiday season this Friday, Nov. 1 with the opening of The 12 Dates of Christmas in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center Black Box Theater. If you’re not quiet ready for the holidays just yet, don’t worry. This isn’t your typically sugary Christmas show.

With snippets of great music, a spin on the traditional romantic-comedy storyline, and a lot of single girl humor The 12 Dates of Christmas is a delightful way to ease into the bustle of the holidays & a show you won’t want to miss!

“At first, my reaction was, “Oh, a Christmas play.” Then, I read it. It isn’t really a Christmas play — not that there’s anything wrong with Christmas plays — and I was so charmed by its wit, by the main character and her oh-so-relatable experience of wading back into the dating pool,” says Barb Gandy in a recent interview with City Weekly’s Gavin’s Underground.

Perfect for date night or a girl’s night out on the town, The 12 Dates of Christmas plays Thursday through Sunday until Nov. 16th. TICKETS
